This album shows the result of an artistic residency made in 2016 at the monastery of Arantzazu by french composer and musician Jean-Luc Guionnet (Paris, 1966). The composer makes extensive use of the famous organ of the church to present radical and experimental composition. As the title suggests the album includes two versions of the piece: one recorded so close from the instrument (and captures it in full detail), the second recorded as far as possible (where the acoustics of the church captures the sound of the instrument). This album was produced in collaboration with the french record label (from Lille) VERT PITUITE LA BELLE.
