First and only official album published by this unknown Basque composer of electronic music. Gliss is a unique work based on a geometric canon created by Juan José Aranguren in 1984, interpreted sonically years later by Andres Doñate (1956-2015). A sound composition of an unprecedented complexity and richness somewhere between music and installation sound.

This double album includes some texts by Juan Jose Aranguren and Alex Mendizabal about Doñate’s life and work, and a printed version of the geometric canon by Aranguren.

Gliss is the first release of A(RR), a sublabel of ELSA records, curated by AUDIOLAB (www.audio-lab.org).
